Backstory:
Double Charter was born out of the twin aspirations of two childhood friends, Mike Brandt and Neil Haggerty. Both raised in their small town of Cedarville, Illinois, they quickly bonded over their shared love of music and were known throughout high school as the dynamic duo of local open mics. Mike, with his gritty vocals and guitar, and Neil, with his skill on the drums, intrigued the local music scene early on. It wasn’t until a trip to Nashville in their late twenties that Double Charter truly began its journey. They caught the attention of the legendary producer, Ricky Dallas, who saw their raw talent and saw potential in their innovative sound. Thus, Double Charter was officially formed, and from there, the two embarked on an adventure that has since transcended their small-town beginnings.
