Backstory:

Formed in the bustling city of Austin, Texas, in the summer of 2014, “Drab Mail” was the brainchild of three childhood friends. Ethan Parker (on vocals and rhythm guitar), Ryan McKenzie (on bass), and Liam Johnson (on drums), all from the same neighborhood, were inspired by their shared love for music and their experiences growing up in the city’s cultural melting pot. They started playing together in their garages and soon gained local recognition, eventually leading to their first gig at Austin’s famous live music venue, the Continental Club. Their authentic sound and heart-wrenching lyrics quickly gained them a following, and they became a fixture of the Austin music scene.
