Backstory:

Formed in the heart of Portland, Oregon, in 2012, ‘Drafty Implication’ was originally a group of high school buddies who found a common bond in their music class. After graduation, they decided to transform their passion into a profession and officially established the band. The quartet includes frontman and lead vocalist, Taylor Brooks, drummer Josh Kline, lead guitarist Alistair Reed, and bassist Nolan Carter. The name ‘Drafty Implication’ comes from their shared philosophy of being open to ideas and vulnerable to experiences, a drafty space for implications to flow freely.

Their journey wasn’t always smooth sailing. Struggling to gain recognition in the early years, they performed at small venues and local pubs. However, their undying passion and hard work finally began to pay off when their first single, ‘Breeze of Time’ became a local hit. With the rise of indie music, Drafty Implication became a prominent face in the Portland music scene and gradually gained a loyal fan base across the country.
