Backstory:
Dry Easter is a nomadic indie rock band that was formed in the heart of the Midwest, Columbus, Ohio, in 2012. The band was originally composed of four friends – frontman Jamie Rhodes, guitarist Sam Whittaker, drummer Lucas Bates, and bassist Elliot Shaw. The band name “Dry Easter” was conceived during a particularly barren Easter holiday when all four were college students, lamenting the lack of festivities. The name stuck and came to symbolize their shared vision of creating music that challenges the norm, just as their Easter celebration broke from tradition.
Dry Easter’s music journey started by performing in local gigs and college festivals. Their unique blend of folk-rock with a tinge of blues and grunge quickly caught the attention of music lovers. This led to their first, self-funded studio album in 2014, which became an overnight sensation in the local music scene. Their fame grew and soon they were performing in larger arenas and music festivals, captivating audiences with their bold, unorthodox sound.

Title:
“Harvest Moonlight”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verses)
[E]Under the harvest moonlight, [A]we found our groove
[B]Burned our past bridges, [E]got nothing to prove
[E]Dancing in the dust, [A]where the cobwebs grew
[B]Lost in the rhythm, [E]just me and you
(Chorus)
[E]Under the harvest moonlight, [A]we’ll etch our tale
[B]In the heart of the night, [E]where the stars never fail
[A]In this world that’s so tight, [B]we’ll set sail
[E]Under the harvest moonlight, [A]love will prevail
(Verse)
[E]In the hush of the fields, [A]where the crickets hum
[B]We’ll carve our dreams, [E]beat our own drum
[E]In the shimmer of the stars, [A]we’ll find our sum
[B]Under the harvest moonlight, [E]we’ll become
(Chorus)
[E]Under the harvest moonlight, [A]in the wild and the free
[B]We’ll find our truth, [E]just you and me
[A]In the embrace of the night, [B]we’ll find our key
[E]Under the harvest moonlight, [A]we’ll forever be
