Backstory:

Dual Income is an emblematic punk rock band formed in Seattle, Washington back in the late 90s. The band members, Jake “Raven” Raymond and Noah “Nyx” Nixon were initially just two regular office clerks stuck in their 9-5 jobs, feeling suffocated by the monotony and predictably of their lives. One day, they picked up their old high school instruments out of sheer boredom – Jake on guitar and Noah on drums. Soon, they found themselves creating music that resonated so deeply with their frustrations and aspirations that they decided to form Dual Income – a nod to their corporate beginnings.

The band is known for their substantial contributions to the underground punk rock scene. They are celebrated for their raw energy, non-conformist lyrics that tell tales of corporate life and the struggles of breaking free from societal norms. Their music became an anthem for many who were stuck in similar situations, giving them a voice and a way to express their dissatisfaction and yearning for something more.
