Backstory:
The band “Easy Friendship” was formed in the summer of 2012 in a small, coastal town in Oregon known as Newport. The original members – Steve “Pops” Potter on the drums, Jenny “Jazz” Jenson on the bass, Fred “Frets” Franklin on the guitar, and lead singer, Luke “Lucky” Lancaster – met at a local music festival and bonded over their shared love of music and the beach. They started out playing in local bars and cafes, their harmonious music echoing through the salty sea air and earning them a dedicated local fan base.
Their breakthrough moment came in 2015 when a video of them performing at a beach bonfire went viral. The online buzz led to a record deal and since then, Easy Friendship has toured nationwide, enchanting audiences with their heartfelt, beachy tunes, all while maintaining their humble origins and easy-going vibe.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
G C Am D
Saltwater on our skin, we’re diving in, to the ocean deep and wide.
Beneath the burning sun, our life begun, with the tide on our side.
(Chorus)
G D Em C
We’re humming the melody of the sea,
G D Em C
In our Saltwater Serenade, we found our sweet escapade,
G D Em C
In the rhythm of the waves, we are free.
(Verse 2)
G C Am D
Seashells in our hands, tracing lines in the sand,
With the sunset as our guide,
In the moonlit glow, we let our love grow,
With the shoreline by our side.
(Chorus)
G D Em C
We’re humming the melody of the sea,
G D Em C
In our Saltwater Serenade, we found our sweet escapade,
G D Em C
In the rhythm of the waves, we are free.
