Title:

“Follow the River’s Course”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1) [Am, D, G, Em]
Running through the canyon deep, (Am)
Where the Colorado River sweeps, (D)
Sold my soul to the open road, (G)
In search of a treasure untold. (Em)

(Chorus) [G, C, D]
Follow the river’s course, (G)
Let the water be your force, (C)
It’ll lead you to the heart’s source, (D)
Go, follow the river’s course. (G)

(Verse 2) [Am, D, G, Em]
This journey’s been long and winding, (Am)
With no clear end or defining, (D)
But there’s a call in the wild, (G)
Echoing the voice of the child. (Em)

(Chorus) [G, C, D]
Follow the river’s course, (G)
Let the water be your force, (C)
It’ll lead you to the heart’s source, (D)
Go, follow the river’s course. (G)

(Bridge) [Am, Em, D]
It’s easy to get lost, (Am)
To ignore the personal cost, (Em)
But sometimes you have to cross, (D)
The lines that you’ve glossed.

(Chorus) [G, C, D]
Follow the river’s course, (G)
Let the water be your force, (C)
It’ll lead you to the heart’s source, (D)
Go, follow the river’s course. (G)
