Backstory:

“Elegant Treaty” originated in the vibrant heart of Seattle, Washington, where four childhood friends found solace and camaraderie in their shared love for music. These friends were Edward (Eddie) Marlowe (vocals, guitar), Sarah Mitchell (bass, backup vocals), Austin Douglas (drums), and William (Will) Grant (keyboard). As teenagers, they spent countless hours in Eddie’s basement, jamming, dreaming, and inevitably forming a musical bond that would lead to the creation of their band in 2010.

The band initially played in local bars and cafes, mesmerizing audiences with their harmonious blend of alternative rock and soulful lyrics. Their breakthrough came in 2014 when their EP, “Emerald Echoes,” caught the attention of music producer, Scott Walker. With his guidance, Elegant Treaty transitioned from local fame to international stardom.
