Backstory:
Elementary Metal was formed in 2010 in a midsized town in Colorado. Founding members, lead vocalist Harry Osborne, guitarist Jimmy Stewart, bassist Mark Watson, and drummer Joe Greaser, were all chemistry teachers at a local elementary school. After countless days of teaching chemistry to young minds, the quartet decided to channel their passion for science and music into creating a unique brand of metal, where the elements of the periodic table, scientific theories, and principles would serve as the backbone of their lyrics.

In their initial years, the band performed gigs at local bars, school fundraisers, and science conventions, slowly gaining recognition for their unique blend of heavy riffs and scientifically accurate lyrics. Their breakthrough came in 2013 when their song “Neon Nights” caught the attention of a larger record label, paving the way for broader exposure. Despite facing criticism for their unconventional approach, Elementary Metal persisted, gaining a loyal fanbase of both metal music and science enthusiasts.
