Backstory:
Embarrassed Zephyr came together as a band in the hustle-bustle of Philadelphia in 2013 when five friends with a shared love for music and harmony decided to create something unique, something of their own. Initially, the band members, Kevin Keats (Lead Vocalist), Samuel Swift (Guitarist), Frank Frost (Bassist), Steven Sharp (Drummer), and Paul Pope (Keyboardist), would just jam in their garages, playing covers and the occasional originals. However, their passion for music quickly evolved into something more serious as they noticed the unique sound they had created. The band’s name, Embarrassed Zephyr, is a reflection of the members’ shared sense of humor and their philosophy of not taking themselves too seriously.
Known for their groundbreaking sound and electrifying live performances, Embarrassed Zephyr’s music quickly resonated with the listeners, making them a local favorite. They’ve since toured extensively, released three studio albums, and continually explored new soundscapes and lyrical themes, which have broadly appealed to the music-loving crowd.
