Enlightened Fighting

Backstory:

Established in 2019, Enlightened Fighting is a unique amalgamation of four individuals who came together in the bustling city of Montreal, Canada. The members – lead vocalist and guitarist Alyssa, drummer Max, bassist Ethan, and keyboardist Amira – met at a local ‘Battle of the Bands’ event where they were competing against each other. Impressed by each other’s skills and shared musical sensibilities, they decided to join forces, setting aside their competitive spirit for a shared passion for music. The band’s name ‘Enlightened Fighting’ is a reflection of their belief in the power of music to enlighten minds and confront societal issues, a fight they are committed to through their lyrical content and sound.

The lyrics of their songs resonate with me on a deep level, and I find their sound incredibly soothing and uplifting. I love how they use their platform to raise awareness about critical issues, making them my favorite band.”
