Backstory:
Enormous Daughter came to life in a small, bohemian coffee shop in the heart of Brooklyn. The band’s founding members, Miles Adler on vocals and guitar, and Sasha Givens on keys and backing vocals, found their connection unexpectedly one rainy afternoon. Sasha was a local barista, and Miles was a wandering musician. As the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the cozy shop, the two strangers started to discuss their shared passion for music and decided to form a band on the spot. They quickly added a drummer, Ben “Smitty” Smith, and a bassist, Julia Chavez, both met at a local open mic night, and thus, Enormous Daughter was born. Their sound, a unique fusion of indie rock and folk, led them to gain a steady following, making their music an emotional journey filled with heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies.
