Backstory:
Enraged Thumb, a quirky band hailing from the eclectic city of Eugene, Oregon, was formed in 2007 when four childhood friends, during a summer break from college, stumbled upon a dilapidated barn filled with vintage musical instruments. Taking it as a sign, they formed a band on the spot, naming it after an inside joke about a thumb wrestling match turned violent. The band consists of lead vocalist and bass guitarist, Liam “Thumb” Thompson, lead guitarist Owen “Rage” Rafferty, keyboardist Eric “Pinky” Stinson, and drummer, Jude “Knuckle” Foster.
Their self-produced basement tapes quickly gained traction in the local indie music scene, and by 2011, Enraged Thumb had released their first EP, which resulted in their first national tour. Since then, they’ve carved their own niche in the music industry with their unique sound, combining unorthodox musical styles with thought-provoking lyrics, wrapped in a blanket of irreverent humor.
