Backstory:
Ethical Goal was formed in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas in 2010, by a group of four college friends with a shared interest in music and philosophy. The members, Kevin (lead vocals and guitar), Ryan (keyboard), Sarah (drums), and Emily (bass guitar), were all philosophy majors who came together during a college talent show. Inspired by their shared understanding of ethics and an unquenchable thirst to express their worldview through music, the band was born. Over the years, they’ve used their music as a platform to address societal issues and provoke thoughtful discourse.

Ethical Goal specializes in a unique blend of indie rock and philosophical punk, which they often refer to as “Thinking Man’s Rock.” Their music is characterized by thought-provoking lyrics, catchy melodies, and a distinctive punk energy.
