Backstory:
In the heart of the rusty, old warehouse district of New York, a distinctive sound began to seep through the walls. Extra-Small Contact, founded by lead vocalist and guitarist, Leo Ritz, and keyboardist, Samuel Wells in 2014, began as an attempt to fuse the upbeat rhythms of their daily life with the introspective, emotional depths of their urban existence. After a few jam sessions in an abandoned warehouse which served as their makeshift studio, they found their sound. Bassist, Lucy Gray, and drummer, Ian Stone, joined the band, each adding their unique flare to the band’s evolving sound. Extra-Small Contact has since become a staple of the local music scene, filling local joints with their unique sound and authentic lyrics.
