Extra-Small Parent

Backstory:
Extra-Small Parent began as a trio of high school friends from the suburbs of New York City. Lead singer and guitarist Luke ‘Shrimp’ Romano, bassist Toby ‘Tadpole’ Johnson, and drummer Kyle ‘Kid’ Stevens bonded over their shared love for music, being the shortest members in their respective families, and their uncanny ability to bring laughter into any situation. After graduation, they decided to put their differences aside and create a band that was an eclectic mix of their personalities and musical tastes. Despite their small stature, Extra-Small Parent boasts a stage presence that belies their size, packing a powerful punch with their high-energy performances.

Their journey has been a roller coaster ride, from playing at local bars to eventually getting a break at the famous SXSW festival where their quirky name and electrifying performance caught the attention of a major label. The band maintains their early charm by engaging their audience with humble humor, making them a hit amongst fans of all ages.
