Extroverted Democracy

Backstory:
Extroverted Democracy was formed in the busy, creative heart of New York City in the summer of 2011. The band members, Quinn (Vocals), Richie (Guitar), Sam (Bass) and Thomas (Drums), met while attending the same university, each pursuing degrees in fields unrelated to music. Despite their diverse backgrounds, the one thing that brought them together was an unshakeable love for making music. They started out playing at college events, evolving their sound and style in the process. Their politically-charged lyrics coupled with powerful, intricate melodies resonated with their peers and soon beyond the campus boundaries. Their rise to fame was gradual, but their dedication and passion for their craft paid off with a dedicated fan base and a record deal.

“Asphalt Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am // Dm // G // C
Under the city lights, we’re playing,
Am // Dm // G // C
Building castles of freedom in the day.
Am // Dm // G // C
The night is young, and the world is swaying,
Am // Dm // G // C
To the rhythm of our heartbeats on display.

(Chorus)
C // G // Am // F
Asphalt dreams in our eyes,
C // G // Am // F
Walking on the edge of our lives.
C // G // Am // F
In this extroverted democracy,
C // G // Am // F
We’re making our own legacy.

(Verse 2)
Am // Dm // G // C
Voices rise, like a tide rolling,
Am // Dm // G // C
Echoing our thoughts loud and clear.
Am // Dm // G // C
In this game, there’s no controlling,
Am // Dm // G // C
The power of the dreams we hold dear.

(Chorus)
C // G // Am // F
Asphalt dreams in our eyes,
C // G // Am // F
Walking on the edge of our lives.
C // G // Am // F
In this extroverted democracy,
C // G // Am // F
We’re making our own legacy.
