Backstory:
Fair Detective is a group of four friends who grew up together in the small town of Gatlin, Iowa. The band members, Max Parker (lead vocals, guitar), Tommy Webb (drums), Jesse Simmons (bass), and Lily Johnson (keyboard, vocals), have always shared a strong love for music and mystery novels. The band’s name, Fair Detective, was inspired by their favorite childhood book series about a righteous, fair-playing detective. They were inseparable throughout their school years and spent their summers playing at local events and honing their musical skills. Their breakthrough came when they were discovered by a talent scout during one of their performances at the county fair.
