Faraway Management

Backstory:

Faraway Management is a unique mix of talent that came together in the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Jace “Rusty” DeLuca; lead guitarist, Shawn “Echo” Kearney; bassist, Leo “Bassman” Cunningham; and drummer, Harry “Hitter” Blackwood. Each member hails from a different part of the country, their paths crossing in the heartland of blues and rock, united by their shared love for music and a desire to create something that would resonate with audiences across the world. What started as a jamming session in a dingy garage quickly morphed into something much bigger, and Faraway Management was born.

The band’s name is a tongue-in-cheek reference to their collective disdain for their day jobs before they decided to pursue music full time. As they often joked, they were all “far away” from their management positions at different corporations. This shared experience and camaraderie form the backbone of the band, reflecting in their music and performances.
