Backstory:
Born out of a shared love for rock and roll and a deep-seated passion for mysterious narratives, Fast Evidence was formed in a dimly lit basement in Brooklyn, New York in 2012. The band consists of four members – Brandon “Brady” Thompson on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ethan “EJ” Johnson on lead guitar, Nicholas “Nicky” Richmond on bass, and Thomas “Tommy” Garcia on drums. Their musical cohesion, coupled with their electrifying stage presence and intriguing lyrical content, has earned them a dedicated fanbase across the globe.
Fast Evidence’s journey began when Brady and EJ, two college buddies studying Criminal Justice, started jamming together after class. Inspired by their coursework, they started writing songs that blended the intrigue of unsolved mysteries and true crime with their love for rock music. Nicky and Tommy, friends from their local music scene, joined the band shortly after, completing the desired sound. The band has since been creating music that not only enthralls but also leaves listeners with a sense of mystery and curiosity.
Genre:
Fast Evidence predominantly falls under the genre of Crime Rock – a sub-genre of rock music heavily influenced by themes from true crime, mystery, and noir literature.
Title:
“A Trace of Doubt”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C] Caught in the spotlight, [Am] under the moonlight,
[F] Cold eyes that glitter, [G] who’s the main hitter?
[C] Whispered confessions, [Am] half-hearted concessions,
[F] In this game of shadows, [G] we’re walking on tiptoes.
(Chorus)
[C] A trace of doubt, [Am] in this truth drought,
[F] We’re finding evidence, [G] in the silence so intense.
[C] Lost in the echoes, [Am] of your sweet innuendos,
[F] Fast evidence, [G] splattered in past tense.
(Verse 2)
[C] Hidden intentions, [Am] behind pretty presentations,
[F] Secrets in reflections, [G] disguised with perfection.
[C] Anonymous letters, [Am] bound in red fetters,
[F] In the face of danger, [G] love’s no stranger.
(Chorus)
[C] A trace of doubt, [Am] in this truth drought,
[F] We’re finding evidence, [G] in the silence so intense.
[C] Lost in the echoes, [Am] of your sweet innuendos,
[F] Fast evidence, [G] splattered in past tense.
(Outro)
[C] We’re chasing shadows, [Am] in the gallows,
[F] Fast evidence, [G] in the realm of silence.
