Backstory:

Fearful Birthday was conceived in the dimly lit and music-filled basements of Chicago, Illinois, in 2010. The band’s unlikely formation resulted from a serendipitous encounter between three childhood friends – Mike (lead guitarist), Andy (drummer), and Simon (vocalist/bassist) – at a local record store. As they discussed their shared love for music, they decided on a whim to form a band that combined their eclectic tastes into a unique and powerful sound. Over-shared glasses of bourbon and countless jam sessions, Fearful Birthday began to take shape, with their music echoing the diverse and gritty spirit of Chicago’s music scene.
