Fearful Relation

Backstory:

Fearful Relation was formed in 2003 in the bustling city of Chicago by a group of high school friends who shared a passion for music. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Adam ‘Axe’ Johnson, bassist and backup vocalist Blake ‘Bass Beast’ Thompson, drummer Jason ‘The Pulse’ Peterson, and keyboardist Sarah ‘Melodic Maven’ White. What started as a casual hobby and an escape from their routine life, soon took a serious turn when their music began to resonate with the local audience.

Their journey wasn’t without struggle; they faced numerous setbacks and lineup changes during their early years. However, their passion for music never faltered, and they continued to create tracks that were deeply rooted in their personal experiences and emotions. As their sound evolved, so did their fan base, eventually leading them to sign a contract with a major record label in 2009.

“I’ve always been a huge music fan, but I have a special place in my heart for Fearful Relation. Their music has been a constant companion through my life’s highs and lows. ‘Shadows of the Past’ got me through a really tough breakup. The raw emotion in their lyrics is relatable and comforting in a way. I’ve seen them live multiple times and their energy is infectious. They have a way of connecting with their audience that few bands can match. Fearful Relation isn’t just my favorite band, they’re like family.”
