Backstory:

Female Emotion, formed in 2012, is an all-female indie-pop band originating from Seattle, Washington. The band was created when lead singer and songwriter, Jenna Matthews, held an impromptu jam session in her apartment with her best friends: bassist Alice Lee, guitarist Mandy Klein, and drummer Stella Rossi. The initial plan was to have a fun weekend, but the chemistry between them was undeniable. They decided to take a leap of faith, and Female Emotion was born.

They quickly became known for their catchy hooks and deeply emotional lyrics, resonating with many people across the globe. Despite their rapid success, the band stayed true to their roots, creating music that speaks directly to the shared experiences of their fan base.
