Backstory:
Female Sector was born out of a small garage in Detroit, Michigan. The all-female band consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Mia, bassist Sarah, drummer Lexi, and keyboardist Ava, were childhood friends who shared a mutual love for music. So, they picked up their respective instruments, formed a band, and started playing gigs at local bars and cafes. In their early days, the band’s performances were raw, wild, and full of energy. They would play anywhere they could, from seedy dive bars to raucous punk clubs. Female Sector gained a reputation for their electric performances and innate ability to stir a crowd, eventually landing a record deal with an indie label. They have since gone from rocking local joints to sold-out arenas, but their essence remains in their roots – a band of friends simply making music they love.
