Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Underneath the [D] midnight sky, [Em] on a Tuesday [C] night,
[G] Musing over [D] memories, [Em] by the train tracks’ [C] light,
[G] We were just some [D] reckless kids, [Em] with dreams bigger than the [C] town,
[G] With our hearts on [D] fire, we had the [Em] desire, to turn our lives [C] around.
(Chorus)
[G] Train tracks on a [D] Tuesday, with stars to [Em] guide our way,
[G] We were young, we were [D] wild, we were [Em] more than okay,
[G] Riding high on [D] youthful dreams, [Em] we swore we’d never [C] sway,
[G] On those train tracks on a [D] Tuesday, where we long to [Em] stay.
(Verse 2)
[G] The years have come and [D] gone, but the [Em] dream is still [C] alive,
[G] We’re still those kids at [D] heart, still striving to [Em] survive,
[G] Underneath the [D] city lights, [Em] with our music playing [C] loud,
[G] On a stage or [D] on a platform, we still feel [Em] incredibly proud.
(Chorus)
[G] Train tracks on a [D] Tuesday, still guide our [Em] way,
[G] We grew up, but we’re [D] still wild, in our own [Em] way,
[G] Making music, living [D] dreams, [Em] we wouldn’t have it any other [C] way,
[G] From those train tracks on a [D] Tuesday, to the stage where we [Em] play.
