Title:
“Cracked Canvas”
Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G F C
On a cracked canvas we paint, our dreams of yesterday,
Am G F C
Broken hearts and faded scars, are colors of our today.
Am G F C
When we lose ourselves in the rain, and find ourselves in pain,
Am G F C
It’s the flawed finish we embrace, that makes us sane.
(Chorus)
G C Em D
We’re the art of imperfection, a masterpiece of direction,
G C Em D
In our flaws, we find reflection, in our finish, resurrection.
(Verse 2)
Am G F C
In the ruins of our hopes, we build our castle tall,
Am G F C
With each mistake and stumble, we break and build up our wall.
Am G F C
Though the melody of life, often hits a discordant note,
Am G F C
It’s the flawed finish of our song, that keeps us afloat.
(Chorus)
G C Em D
We’re the art of imperfection, a masterpiece of direction,
G C Em D
In our flaws, we find reflection, in our finish, resurrection.
