Flickering Jury

Backstory:
The seed of Flickering Jury was planted in the heart of Seattle in 2014 when the lead vocalist, Jake Sullivan, met the drummer, Chad Erickson, during a night jam at a local club. Their shared love for music and a sense of rebellion against the mainstream culture led to the creation of a band that would later send ripples through the independent music scene. With the addition of the gifted bassist, Megan Fuller, and the eccentric guitarist, Noah Klein, Flickering Jury was born. They quickly became known for their blistering live shows and honest, powerful lyrics that gave a voice to the unheard, the outcasts, and the rebels.

“Spark in the Dark”

Full song lyrics:
(VERSE)
Em-C-G-D
Caught in the web of silence, lost in the maze of despair
Em-C-G-D
Look for the spark in the dark, there’s a voice if you dare

(CHORUS)
Em-C-G-D
Flickering Jury’s singing, we’re the voice of the unheard
Em-C-G-D
In the heart of rebellion, our music’s the only word

(VERSE)
Em-C-G-D
Passing through the gates of sanity, walking along the edge of reality
Em-C-G-D
The spark in the dark whispers, wake up from your lethargy

(CHORUS)
Em-C-G-D
Flickering Jury’s playing, we’re the song of the outcasts
Em-C-G-D
In the arms of rebellion, our music holds us steadfast

Testimonial:
“Flickering Jury isn’t just my favorite band, it’s my lifeline. Their music speaks to me on a level that nothing else can. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s empowering. I first stumbled upon their song ‘Spark in the Dark’ during a difficult time in my life and it was like someone switched on a light in a room I didn’t know was dark. Since then, I’ve seen them live five times and each performance is more electrifying than the last. Jake, Chad, Megan, and Noah are genuine and their passion is contagious, it’s like they’ve found a way to give voice to my deepest thoughts and feelings. They’ve made me feel seen, heard, and understood. Flickering Jury is more than just a band to me, they’re my tribe.”
