Flimsy Milk

Backstory:
Flimsy Milk was formed in the small town of Beaumont, Texas. Initially, the band was a trio of high school friends, namely, Larry ‘Lizard’ Strickland, Billy ‘Bee’ Franklin and Frances ‘Frog’ Hewitt. They began their music journey in the dimly lit garage of Larry’s house, creating tunes that reflected their shared love for the eccentric, the whimsical and the absurd. One day, while sipping on some leftover, watered-down milk, the trio came up with their oddball name ‘Flimsy Milk’. They saw it as a metaphor for their music – something ordinary, yet strangely appealing.
Flimsy Milk’s journey from the garage to the big stage has been filled with countless gigs, endless road trips, and a relentless pursuit of their unique sound. The band faced several hardships, including a brief period of disbandment, but their shared passion for music always brought them back together. Today, their sound has evolved into something truly unique, capturing the hearts of many across the world.

Genre:
Flimsy Milk’s music can be best described as Psychedelic Pop, with a twist of Indie Rock.

(Verse 1)
[G]You came along, [D]like a lactose dream,
[Em] Sweet and smooth, like a [C]vanilla ice cream.
[G] A dairy fairy, with [D]butterfly wings,
[Em] We were afloat, in [C]milk and things.

(Chorus)
[G] But I’m lactose intolerant, [D]cannot digest,
[Em] Your cream and cheese, [C]our love’s a mess.
[G] My stomach’s aching, [D]my heart’s in distress,
[Em] I’m a lactose intolerant [C]in a cream dress.

(Verse 2)
[G] We danced in butter, [D]slipped through my hand,
[Em] Like a buttered toast, [C]on a frying pan.
[G] Your milky smile, [D]your cheesy jokes,
[Em] My heart revolts, [C]and my soul chokes.

(Chorus)
[G] But I’m lactose intolerant, [D]cannot devour,
[Em] Your milky love, [C]souring by the hour.
[G] My stomach’s churning, [D]my senses flower,
[Em] I’m a lactose intolerant [C]in an ivory tower.
