Backstory:
The Flippant Coil was formed in the heart of the bustling and thriving music scene of Austin, Texas in 2010. The quintet comprises five childhood friends: Logan (vocals), Ethan (guitar), Miles (bass), Dylan (drums), and Jake (keyboard). They grew up in the same neighborhood, sharing a passion for music that turned into impromptu jam sessions in their parents’ garages. Those initial musical explorations eventually set the groundwork for the Flippant Coil. After spending several years honing their sound, they released their debut album in 2013, which quickly became an indie hit.
