Backstory:

Flippant County is the brainchild of four college mates who shared a common love for music and rebellious expression. The band was formed in the small, unassuming town of Edgewater, nestled in the heart of Texas, but the name ‘Flippant County’ came from their shared disdain for the unimaginative and stagnant mentality of their hometown. Austin, the lead vocalist and guitarist, came up with the name, and it clicked for the rest of the group. They played in local bars, school functions, and small festivals, gradually gaining popularity for their distinctive sound and spirited stage performances. While their journey to fame wasn’t rapid, it was unstoppable. Their persistence and passion eventually led to a record deal and their music started to resonate with people on a larger scale.
