Fond Colony

Backstory:
From the eclectic streets of Portland, Oregon, Fond Colony emerged as a unique musical entity in 2014. Comprised of four friends – Levi, the charismatic lead singer, Jasper, the introspective songwriter and guitarist, Noah, the whimsical bassist, and Amelia, the effervescent drummer – who shared a common passion for diverse music, ranging from the melancholic strums of folk to the hyperactive beat of indie rock. The band’s vibrant sound was born in a compact, colorfully adorned garage which the group converted into their creative hub.

Fond Colony hit the local music scene with a distinctive blend of raw energy, poetic lyrics, and catchy melodies. Their meteoric rise was fueled by their intense live performances, often characterized by their unpredictability and spontaneity. They embraced the chaos, the energy, the love, and the camaraderie that came along with the journey, and it was this shared spirit and mutual love for their craft that saw them evolve from a garage band to local heroes.

Song Title: “Whispers of the Wind”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse)
Am Em G D
Traveling souls, lost in the hustle,
Am Em G D
Seeking warmth in the concrete jungle.
Am Em G D
Our hearts beat to a different tune,
Am Em G D
We found solace under the same moon.

(Chorus)
C G Am Em
Whispers of the wind, guide us home,
C G Am Em
In our colony of love, we’re never alone.
C G Am Em
Through the highs and the lows, we roam,
C G Am Em
Whispers of the wind, guide us home.

(Verse)
Am Em G D
Lost and found, in the symphony of life,
Am Em G D
Through the noise, we found our strife.
Am Em G D
In harmony, our spirits blend,
Am Em G D
In Fond Colony, we found our end.

(Chorus)
C G Am Em
Whispers of the wind, guide us home,
C G Am Em
In our colony of love, we’re never alone.
C G Am Em
Through the highs and the lows, we roam,
C G Am Em
Whispers of the wind, guide us home.

Every song feels like a piece of a much larger, beautiful mosaic. They capture the essence of life, raw and unfiltered, in their music.
