Backstory:
Fragrant Operator is an extraordinary band that came together in the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2010. The band members, all coming from different musical backgrounds, met at a local open mic event where they discovered their shared passion for blending traditional rock with more experimental sounds. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Jake Bennett, drummer, Max Harper, and bassist, Laura Clarke, decided to join forces and create a band that would push the boundaries of genre and offer a refreshing taste to the music industry.
Their journey began with playing small gigs in local bars and coffee shops, where they quickly captured the attention of the community with their unique sound. From there, the band recorded their debut album in a garage-turned-studio, combining their different influences into a cohesive sound.
