Frail Beetle

Backstory:
Frail Beetle is a four-piece ensemble that was formed in the heart of Seattle’s thriving indie music scene. The members – lead vocalist and guitarist Jason Gardiner, drummer Lisa Holloway, bassist Theo Rosales, and keyboardist Sarah O’Reilly – were all college friends who bonded over their shared passion for music. While studying at the University of Washington, they started playing together in their dorm rooms, creating a unique blend of heartfelt lyrics and melodic rhythms. After graduation, they decided to take their hobby to the next level and Frail Beetle was born. Their music explores the human condition with an honest perspective, offering listeners a poignant narrative of love, loss, and everything in-between.

Title:
“Glassy Shores”

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1: C-Am-G-D)
C Am G D
On the glassy shores of broken dreams,
C Am G D
You and I, we built castles in the air.
C Am G D
Drunk on youth, innocence it seems,
C Am G D
Was our only truth, in blissful unaware.

(Chorus: G-Em-C-D)
G Em C D
Hold on to me, let’s paint the sky,
G Em C D
With hues of our fractured lullaby.
G Em C D
We’ll mend the wings of this frail beetle,
G Em C D
And teach it again, how to fly.

(Verse 2: C-Am-G-D)
C Am G D
Time swept away, our sand castles fell,
C Am G D
Leaving behind, echoes of laughter’s bell.
C Am G D
Yet in our hearts, the memories dwell,
C Am G D
Like a sacred spell, a story to tell.

(Bridge: Am-C)
Am C
In the ruins, we find our strength,
Am C
In our scars, we learn to dance again.
