Backstory:
Frail Quilt was formed in the rain-drenched city of Seattle, Washington in 2015. The band was the brainchild of lead vocalist and songwriter, Sam Reynolds, a former photojournalist who decided to pursue a career in music after his exposure to various cultures and their unique musical sounds. His vision was to create a band that infused the elements of folk, blues, and indie, with a touch of world music. He was soon joined by bassist Marci Lang, drummer Alex Ritter, and guitarist and back vocalist Lucy Keating, who shared his vision and passion. Each member brought their personality, style, and a piece of their story, creating a beautiful patchwork of tones, rhythms, and lyrics—much like a frail quilt.
