Backstory:
Free Skin came into existence in a small garage in the heart of Seattle in 2010, when a group of five high school friends – Eric (Vocals), Mitch (Guitar), Tim (Drums), Stan (Bass), and Nancy (Keyboard) – decided to channel their angst and love for music into something tangible. The band members, all from different walks of life, found common ground in their shared passion for music and the desire to break free from society’s constraints, ultimately leading to the creation of the band Free Skin. Their name symbolizes their belief in the freedom of expression, the shedding of societal expectations, and the power of individuality. Over the years, they have evolved, featuring a distinctive fusion sound that combines elements from alternative rock, punk, and grunge.
