Friendly Unit

Backstory:
Friendly Unit started out as a group of childhood friends from the small town of Redstone, Wyoming. Sharing a profound love for music, they began jamming in their parents’ basements as teenagers, covering songs from their favorite bands and dreaming of one day performing on big stages. In college, they decided to take their passion to the next level, forming their own band and calling it Friendly Unit, a name that spoke to their shared philosophy of promoting unity through music. Their journey hasn’t been easy, but their bond and tenacity have kept them moving forward, producing music that resonates with people and instills a sense of unity and cohesion.

(Verse 1)
[G] Looking back at the days of [C] yore,

[D] To make some music and [G] grow.

(Verse 2)
[G] We’ve come far, we’ve come [C] wide,
[D] With a song in our hearts, and [G] stars in our eyes,
[G] In this journey, we’ve found our [C] tribe,
[D] With music, we thrive and [G] survive.

(Chorus)
[A] Here’s to our strings of [C] harmony,
[D] Building bridges, breaking [G] walls,
[A] We’re the Friendly Unit, [C] can’t you see?
[D] With our music, we’ll stand [G] tall.

(Verse 3)
[G] The road’s been rough, the journey [C] long,

[A] Here’s to our strings of [C] harmony,
[D] Building bridges, breaking [G] walls,
[A] We’re the Friendly Unit, [C] can’t you see?
[D] With our music, we’ll stand [G] tall.

Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan’s name is Tim. He’s been with us since the beginning, showing up at every local gig, rain or shine. He told us once, “Friendly Unit is my favourite because their music speaks to my soul. They’re not just a band; they’re a community, a family. When I listen to their music, I feel a profound sense of unity and togetherness that’s hard to find in today’s world. They remind me that no matter how hard life gets, we’re all in this together.” We are grateful for fans like Tim who truly understand and appreciate our vision.
