Backstory:
Frilly Client, a four-member band, emerged from the eclectic streets of Austin, Texas. Established in 2003, the band comprises childhood friends – Lenny Jackson on vocals and guitar, Benny “the Beast” on drums, Kyle “the Charmer” on keyboard, and Joe “the Silent” on bass. Individually, they had their unique musical pursuits – Lenny was a blues enthusiast, Benny loved his classic rock, Kyle was into jazz, and Joe was deep into the grunge scene. One fateful day, they decided to jam together, blending their diverse influences into a unique sound. The synergy and magic of their collective rhythm were undeniable, and so, Frilly Client was born.
In their early days, Frilly Client performed in small local gigs, showcasing their unconventional music. Over time, they built a loyal fan base and gained recognition in the local music scene. Their breakthrough moment came when they won the Battle of the Bands competition in 2006, leading to a record deal with an independent label. They haven’t looked back since, maintaining a steady stream of hits and energetic performances.
