Funny Disaster

Backstory:
Funny Disaster was formed in 2007 when four college buddies realized they had more than just their love for beer nights in common. They were all passionate about music and spent most of their time in the basement of their campus dorm, practicing and creating their own sound. The band members – Cody, Joe, Hank and Rob – have a riotous sense of humor, hence the name Funny Disaster. In the small college town, they quickly gained a reputation for their upbeat rhythm and witty lyrics and by their senior year, they were touring local bars.

The band experienced a breakthrough when their song “Melancholy in the Supermarket” was selected for a popular TV show’s soundtrack. The success led to their first record deal and Funny Disaster has been on the rise ever since.

Title:
“Carnival of Love”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse1)
[C] Love is like a [Am] ferris wheel, up and down, it’s so [G] unreal,
[D] Spinning around, lost in [F] the joyful sound;
[C] Cotton candy [Am] dreams and [D] popcorn laughter,
[F] This is our Carnival of [G] Love.

(Chorus)
[G] Round and round we [C] go, love’s a thrilling [Am] show,
[D] On a roller coaster, we’re [F] riding high and low;
[G] With every ticket [C] torn, a new love is [Am] born,
[D] In this Carnival of [F] Love.

(Verse2)
[C] Prize games and [Am] shooting stars, [G] love stories told in [D] candy bars,
[F] Hand in hand, under the [G] neon light band;
[C] Whispers on the [Am] ghost train, [D] promises in the [F] rain,
[G] welcome to our Carnival of [C] Love.

[Repeat Chorus]

End:
[G] The show is over, [C] the lights go down,
[Am] But our love will still [D] go round and round
[F] In this Carnival of [G] Love.
