Backstory:
In a small garage tucked away in the bustling city of Seattle, Gaseous Allowance was born. Brought together by their shared love for music and rebellion against the ordinary, the band members: Charles “Chaz” Finley, David “Dave” Watson, and the eccentric sister duo: Emma and Cassie Clarke, have been challenging the conventional norms of the music world since 2010. The band was named by lead singer, Chaz, who, inspired by a high school science project on the behavior of gas under different pressures, believed that music, like gas, should be free to expand, grow, and fill every corner of the universe.
Genre:
Gaseous Allowance plays in the genre of Progressive Psychedelic Rock, combining complex rhythms, layered harmonies with a hint of blues influence, and an exploration of sound and atmosphere that pushes the boundaries of what is conventionally known as rock music.
Title:
“Bubble of Truth”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am – G – D – Am
In a world where shadows reign,
Where hearts are lost in a sea of pain,
A bubble rises, clear and bright,
Bearing the promise of eternal light.
(Chorus)
F – G – C – Em
Bubble of truth, shine on me,
Break these chains, set me free,
In your light, let me find,
The peace that eludes my troubled mind.
(Verse 2)
Am – G – D – Am
Through the haze of twisted lies,
A beacon of light in the midnight skies,
A bubble floats, pure and true,
Leading the way, to a world anew.
(Chorus)
F – G – C – Em
Bubble of truth, guide my way,
Through the night, into the day,
With your light, let me see,
The truth that will finally set me free.
