Backstory:
Glaring Quiver was born in the bohemian neighborhood of Greenwich Village, New York City, in the heart of the vibrant arts scene of the early 2000s. The band members include lead singer and keyboardist, Jackson “Jax” Laine, a poet turned musician from Chicago, and drummer, Eddie Wesson, a street performer from London. They met during a poetry slam and bonded over their common love of music. Joined by the lead guitarist, Lila Monroe, a former contemporary dancer from LA and bassist, Andre Rousseau, a French painter and musician, they formed Glaring Quiver, aiming to fuse their various artistic influences into a unique musical journey.
Their first break came in a local open-mic night, where they were spotted by a record producer who was captivated by their sound. They were signed on the spot, and quickly began to gain a following. Their debut album, “Arrows of Light”, was critically acclaimed and brought them to the attention of the wider music scene.

Fan Testimonial:
My name is Kathryn Moreau, and Glaring Quiver is my favorite band. Why, you ask? Their music isn’t just a melody; it’s a journey that resonates with my soul. Their poetic lyrics and the raw emotion in their performance always leave me in awe. From the melancholy of “Lost In Time” to the stirring rhythm of “The Shadows Dance”, their songs have been my companions through life’s highs and lows. They don’t just perform; they bare their souls, and it’s that authenticity that makes me their number one fan.
