Backstory:

Gleaming Competition, a trio of musicians, was formed in the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon during the fall of 2012. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Isaac Miller, bassist, Ellie Holdman, and drummer, Nick Lancaster. The three met at a local open mic night and instantly bonded over their shared love for music and a mutual desire to create something unique and expressive. Isaac’s soulful singing, Ellie’s dynamic bass lines, and Nick’s rhythmic drumming, combined with their prolific songwriting, created a sound that was refreshing and quite unlike anything on the local music scene. They quickly found a following and began to play at various local venues, gaining a reputation for their energetic performances and infectious melodies.
