Backstory:
Born out of the smoky backrooms of Brooklyn’s underground music venues, Gleeful Pack is a quartet that embodies the diversity and dynamism of the city’s vibrant music scene. The band is composed of four charismatic talents: frontwoman Sally ‘Rumble’ Rogers, a former punk drummer turned singer-songwriter; Billy ‘Blue’ Baker, a classically trained pianist with a knack for irresistible hooks; Jimmy ‘Jam’ Jackson, a jazz-infused bassist with an unmatched rhythm; and Teddy ‘Tornado’ Turner, a powerhouse drummer who can set a tempo like a metronome on steroids. As they grew tired of the monotony and lack of depth in mainstream music, they decided to break free and form a band that would blend their unique musical backgrounds and redefine popular music.
Gleeful Pack hit the music scene in 2018 with their eclectic sound and energetic performances, quickly earning a loyal fan base. They have become known for their dynamic stage presence and the emotional depth of their lyrics, reflecting the undeniable chemistry and mutual understanding between the band members.
