Backstory:
Glistening Heat was formed in the sun-drenched, beach city of Miami. The four-piece band, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Ramirez, bassist Rob Evans, keyboardist Nina Perez and drummer Henry Grant, met at a local music festival where they discovered their shared passion for music and the burning desire to create something unique. Jake was the one who suggested the name “Glistening Heat” while they were sitting on the beach watching the sunset. He said, the glistening heat of the day meeting the cool ocean could symbolize the contrasting sounds they wanted to produce.
Their first album was a hot mess of creativity and experimentation, but it was their second album ‘Sizzling Shadows’ that catapulted them to fame. The band’s chemistry and distinct sound gained them a loyal fanbase, leading to packed concert venues and headlining spots at major music festivals.
