Great name for a band
Good Bed
The story
Good Bed was formed in the rainy spring of 2018, after three insomniac college friends—Jamie, Tessa, and Malik—found themselves in a 24-hour diner debating the merits of sleep versus adventure. Their shared love for late-night jams and existential conversations quickly led to midnight songwriting sessions in Jamie's cramped apartment, where the only furniture was, fittingly, a very good bed. The name stuck after a particularly productive session ended with the trio collapsing in a pile of laughter and half-written lyrics.
Over the years, Good Bed built a loyal following with their dreamy, comfort-laden sound and honest lyrics about yearning, restlessness, and the simple joys of finding a place to belong. Whether playing packed basement shows or recording lo-fi demos, they've always focused on authenticity and connection—welcoming everyone who needs a safe space to listen, sing, and just breathe.

Biggest fan
Their favorite fan is Riley Mendez, who has been to every one of their shows since their first open mic in 2018. Riley says: "I’ve never felt more understood than when I’m at a Good Bed concert. Their music is comfort food for the soul—it’s helped me through sleepless nights, breakups, and even just long days at work. Jamie once dedicated 'Sheets of Gold' to me when I was going through a rough patch, and that moment reminded me that good music—and good people—make the world softer. I’ll always be their loudest voice in the front row!"
