Backstory:
“Graceful Fairy” was born out of a basement in a small, Midwest town. Best friends since kindergarten, Lily Thompson and Hazel Green decided to turn their shared love for music and storytelling into something magical. The name, “Graceful Fairy,” was inspired by their mutual love for fantasy novels and role-playing games, finding solace and power from these stories during their high school years when they both felt misunderstood and out of place. Lily, with her soulful voice and ability to write lyrics that reverberate with raw emotion, and Hazel, a prodigious guitar player with a knack for creating enchanting melodies, embarked on their musical journey determined to convey the magic, strength, and resilience they found in their beloved stories, to their audience.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Under the [D] old willow tree, [Em] we used to [C] dream,
[G] Telling tales [D] of knights and [Em] queens, secrets [C] unseen.
[G] Where the [D] glittering stars [Em] danced around [C] our heads,
[G] We found [D] courage in [Em] the stories [C] that we read.
(Chorus)
[G] Whispers of the [D] wind, [Em] take me [C] home,
[G] To the fairy [D] tales, where [Em] I have [C] grown.
[G] Let the magic [D] in, set your [Em] spirit [C] free,
[G] We are the [D] graceful fairies, [Em] wild and [C] free.
(Verse 2)
[G] Through the [D] battles and the [Em] heartaches, [C] we stood tall,
[G] In the kingdom [D] of our making, [Em] we had it [C] all.
[G] Underneath the [D] moonlight’s [Em] silvery [C] glow,
[G] We found [D] strength in [Em] the stories [C] that we know.
