Backstory:

Grandiose Chest formed in the suburbs of Austin, Texas, in 2012. The band was initially composed of high school friends, lead vocalist/guitarist Jeff Harris, drummer Anna Perkins, bassist Mikey Ross and keyboardist Rachel ‘Rae’ Owens. They spent their early days jamming in Jeff’s basement after school. Their music reflects their shared passion for storytelling, blending their everyday experiences with the glistening charm of grand folk tales. Grandiose Chest landed their first gig at a local bar, and the positive response from the crowd gave them the confidence to believe in their potential. They recorded their first album in 2015, and it was more successful than they had ever imagined.
