1. Backstory

Green Victory, a five-member band from Seattle, Washington, came together in the basement of an old thrift shop in 2005. Lead vocalist Jack Thompson, a local barista, met drummer Hannah Sparks while they were both volunteering at a local food bank. The two connected over a shared love for music and began jamming together. They later recruited bassist Mikey Roberts, keyboardist Jenny Mitchell, and lead guitarist Aaron Feeny, all ardent musicians who were looking for an opportunity to create something unique and meaningful.

The band got their big break in 2008 when they won a local battle of the bands competition. Their unique sound and evocative lyrics caught the attention of an independent record label executive who happened to be in the audience. Green Victory was signed shortly thereafter, and the band quickly gained a devoted fan base that resonated with their heartfelt music and earnest performances. Their journey from the basement to the big stage is a testament to their dedication to their craft and their desire to create music that moves people.
