Backstory:
Born in the vibrant, eclectic heart of San Francisco’s music scene, Grouchy Mouse came into existence during an impromptu jam session in a basement in 2015. Lead singer Kevin ‘Stitch’ Mitchell, guitarist PJ ‘Squeaky’ Sheridan, bassist Ronnie ‘Claw’ Clawson and drummer Joey ‘Whiskers’ Wilmot found an immediate and potent chemistry. Each had been part of various local bands, but none felt quite as right as this. Thus, Grouchy Mouse was born. Their name was inspired by a stuffed mouse toy that Stitch’s daughter kept on the basement couch, a toy that’s always looked a tad grouchy according to the crew.

Grouchy Mouse’s sound is a unique blend of alternative rock and indie pop, with a slight nod to grunge. They’ve been praised for their sharp lyrics, catchy hooks, and energetic performances that are deeply rooted in the spirit of the 90s rock scene.
