Grown Arm

Backstory:
Grown Arm began as a simple two-man gig in the basement of a small house in Seattle, Washington in the summer of 2002. Long-time friends, vocalist John “Hark” Harker and guitarist Mike “Strum” Rogers, had an insatiable passion for creating raw, emotionally penetrating music. Despite their humble beginnings and contrasting musical influences – Hark’s love for soulful blues and Strum’s relentless grunge tendencies, they found harmony in their pieces, and thus, Grown Arm was born. Over time, they added drummer Sam “Thump” Willis and bassist Tim “Tune” Norton to the mix, and this quartet became a staple in the local music scene, captivating audiences with their unique sound.

“Drowned Echo”

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verses)
G
In the murmurs of my solitude, I find my peace,
Em
In the echoes of the drowned, I find release.
C
The world spins, my heart stirs,
D
In the silence, your voice occurs.

Chorus:
G
Drowned Echo, you’re my lost memory,
Em
In your grasp, I find my reverie.
C
With each beat, my heart cries out,
D
In your absence, it’s a drought.

Verse 2:
G
Every beat, every note we play,
Em
A reflection of emotions we display.
C
In the canvas of sound, we paint,
D
Our story, free of restraint.

Chorus:
G
Drowned Echo, you’re our silent plea,
Em
In your depth, we find our decree.
C
With each chord, our souls shout,
D
In your silence, there’s no doubt.

(End with a quiet repetition of the chorus, fading out)
