Grumpy Province was formed in a quaint little town in Canada, more specifically in a broken-down garage over a couple of beers and a shared love for music. The founding members, Paul Bannister and Jonny Westwood, were school friends who always dreamt of starting their own band. They named it ‘Grumpy Province’, as a tribute to their roots and the good, bad, and often grumpy days they spent in their small town. Driven by their passion for music, they began honing their craft, adding members along the way, including bassist Lee Jenkins and drummer Aiden Matthews. Their fame spread through grassroots efforts, gigs in local bars, and the support of their home province, which took pride in the band’s success.
